Mosaic EcoBuild is a new business setting up to go live in spring 2025, created and directed by Thomas Smellie. Mosaic EcoBuild is looking to take on:
Working on a project by project basis, with a genuine focus on sustainability and workmanship.
With over two decades of hands-on experience, Thomas Smellie has honed his skills in building, carpentry, joinery, and site management. He has successfully managed domestic construction projects up to £750K. Including new builds, renovations, and projects certified to Passive House and EnerPhit standards.
His academic background includes a BSc in Environmental Geology and Climate Change Science from the University of Southampton, completed in 2002, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Architecture Advanced Environmental and Energy Studies from the University of East London, Centre of Alternative Technology, in 2007.
